Robles ready for Herrera

The controversial super flyweight WBC FECARBOX champion, Miguel “El Loco” Robles (11-1-2, 5 KOs) is ready to face Juan “Cowi” Herrera (7-5, 3KOs) on Saturday, September 1 at the Roger Mendoza Coliseum. “We have prepared as if we were going to fight for the world title. We know that Cowi is a warrior and will come forward all the time. I know him very well and he is a dangerous fighter,” Miguel Robles said. “‘El Loco’ made it clear that on Saturday, September 1st, a war will occur in the ring. The Cowi and I have named our fight The War, because it will be! We will leave everything up there and I am ready and I will win.”

“It’s a very even fight, and will be very exciting for the fans. Saturday, September 1st in Caguas will be a great event for boxing fans,” said businessman and promoter Héctor Soto.

Also, undeafeated Edgardo “Sasso” Lopez (5-0,4 KOs), one of the fans favorite fighters, will also see action in a six round fight in the lightweight division when he takes on Gadiel Andaluz (4-3-1, 2KOs). Also one of the most recent prospects of Miguel Cotto Promotions, H2 Entertainment and Global Boxing, Emanuel “Pinky” Colon (1-0,1Ko) from Barranquitas, will see action together with the hard-hitting Samuel “Macho” Figueroa, Charlie Clemente, Starling Cordero and Kevin Nieves.

HERRERA: Todo o Nada will be held at the Roger Mendoza Coliseum in Caguas, from 6 pm and will be part of the famous television series “Solo Boxeo: Tecate” which will air on Univision Deportes in a promotion of Miguel Cotto Promotions together with H2 Entertainment.
