Promoter Roy Englebrecht confirmed Sunday that top contender Juan Carlos Salgado injured his hand on Friday and will not fight Tyrone Harris for the IBO Super Featherweight World Title, Wednesday, September 15th at the Las Vegas Hilton. But not to lose a fight on his Viva Mexico At Las Vegas Televisa and PPV show, Englebrecht was able to get the IBO to approve an Eliminator bout between Harris and 30-7 Miguel Roman, with the winner facing Salgado for the World Title.
In the featured bout on the six bout card, IBO Featherweight Champion Jackson Asiku puts his belt on the line against former world champion Jhonny Gonzalez.
The show set for the Hilton Theater on Wednesday the 15th also featured former Miami Hurricane football star Quadrine Hill vs Yohan Banks in a heavyweight matchup.
Doors open at 6pm on the 15th with the first bout at 6:30pm and tickets are priced at $25 to $75. The entire six bout card will be televised on PPV with In Demand, and the two title fights will be shown in Mexico on Televisa.
