Unbeaten super featherweight Ronny Rios will return to the ring on July 28th in a scheduled 10 round bout, manager Frank Espinoza told Fightnews.com on Sunday afternoon. The bout will headline a “Solo Boxeo” card at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA. According to Espinoza, no opponent has been lined up yet for the 22 year old boxer. Rios has looked impressive in recent fights, especially in his most recent bout on April 7th, when he won a one-sided eight round unanimous decision over Guillermo Sanchez in Anaheim, CA. Rios, who began boxing professionally at 18 years of age, was a two-time United States Amateur champion and a National Golden Gloves champion in 2007. Rios (18-0, 8 KOs) resides in Santa Ana, CA and is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.
