In a WBA flyweight eliminator, Mexican Francisco “Chiquita” Rosas and Venezuelan Jean Piero Perez battled to a twelve round draw on Saturday night in Monterrey, Mexico. In another battle, featherweight Ernesto Morales scored a second round knockout against Fernando “Torito” Torres in a bout for the Mexican national championship and an opportunity to contend for the WBA world championship.
