Unbeaten super bantamweight Daniel “Bad Boy” Rosas (15-0-1, 10 KOs) scored a third round knockout over Eduardo “Bambino” Garcia (25-10-0, 13 KOs) on Saturday night at the Cortijo Caliente in Tijuana, BC, Mexico. Rosas put Garcia down for the count at 1:39 of the third. “I felt very good, very strong,” said Rosas. “I said I was coming to give a good fight and would win clearly and I did. Now I’ll wait for whatever comes, but I’m ready to fight for a world championship!”
In the co-feature, unbeaten welterweight Jose “Chone” Zepeda (14-0, 12 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Rodolfo “Rudy” Quintanilla (13-2-1, 10 KOs).
On the undercard, super bantamweight Enrique “Duende” Bernache (20-4, 11 KOs) scored a sixth round TKO over Jesus “Piriguas” Lopez and bantamweight Alejandro “Cobrita” Gonzalez (15-0-1, 10 KOs) hammered out Cesar Ramirez (4-1, 4 KOs) in round two.
