Ross “The Boss” Thompson (27-13-2) was released from a Buffalo hospital today two days after being stabbed and shot outside a Buffalo, NY bar. Thompson claims there were up to 30 people who jumped him for no reason. “I got stabbed ten times and I never felt myself getting stabbed. I guess my adrenaline was so high just from, you know, fighting,” Thompson told WKBW television news. Thompson was scheduled to fight Chris Henry on June 4th for the NABA light heavyweight title but that was called off after Henry was arrested last week. Thompson expects to be out for four weeks and plans on continuing his career.
