Peruvian WBA interim light flyweight champion Alberto Rossel (29-8, 13 KOs) retained his belt for the first time via twelve round unanimous decision over Colombian challenger Karluis Diaz (17-4, 13 KOs) on Saturday night at the Miguel Grau Gym in El Callao, Peru. The judges scored it 117.5-111.5, 117.5-113.5 and 117-111.5
Peruvian prospect David Zegarra (20-0, 14 KOs) won by unanimous eleven round decision over Colombian Emilio Julio (24-9-2, 14 KOs) to retain his South American middleweight title.
Another Peruvian prospect, Carlos Zambrano (16-0, 9 KOs) took a unanimous eight round decision over Colombian Alvaro Marimón (7-5-1, 6 KOs) in a featherweight clash,
