Former contender Troy Rowland is primed for his second comeback fight on Saturday, July 11th. Rowland will take on Cincinnati’s Dave Saunders in the scheduled 6 round main event to be held outdoors at the Fifth Third Ballpark in Rowland’s hometown of Grand Rapids, MI. Rowland won his first fight after a 3 1/2 year layoff this past April and his looking to work his way into a title fight sometime in the near future. The nine bout card presented by Blue Cap Promotions and Carlos Llinas International Productions (CLIP) will also feature local favorites: Derron Hernandez, Ruben Troche, Jackie Beard, Bert Compton, Rafael Hernandez, Alejo Sepulveda, and Alex Otero. Tickets are $20, $30, and $40 and can be purchased at www.whitecapsbaseball.com or at the ballpark the night of the fight. First bell is at 8 PM.
