Rubio returns June 4

Mexican middleweight contender Marco Antonio “Veneno” Rubio will return on June 4 against Colombian Jairo Siris at the Auditorio Centenario in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico. Rubio, who won a WBC eliminator against David Lemieux in April is staying busy as he waits to face the winner of the June 4 WBC 160lb title clash between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Sebastian Zbik. Promoter Oswaldo Kuckle said the Rubio-Siris card will be televised throughout Mexico and will also feature hot super featherweight prospect Dante “Crazy” Jardon against Adailton de Jesus and middleweight prospect Marco “Dorado” Reyes vs. TBA.
