Rubio-Spada fight in Delicias, Chihuahua on April 5

In Mexico City at the WBC’s weekly “Tuesday Coffee” with reporters, it was confirmed that the fight for the WBC interim middleweight world title between Marco Antonio “Veneno” Rubio and Domenico Spada will take place Saturday, April 5th in Delicias, Chihuahua in Mexico on an event organized by Promociones del Pueblo and broadcast of Televisa. Rubio was on hand for the announcement of the fight made by Oswaldo Küchle, president of Promociones del Pueblo, as well as the Mayor of Delicias Jaime Beltrán del Río. WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman presided. Rubio will now resume his preparation in Oxnard, California with trainer Robert Garcia.
