Rubio starts hard training in Mexican mountains
By Gabriel F. Cordero
On Friday, middleweight contender Marco Antonio “Veneno” Rubio began training at the Otomi Ceremonial Center in the Mexico State for his long awaited fight with WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on February 4 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Rubio should have about three weeks of high altitude training. “I want to train as hard as possible,” said Rubio. “I feel very motivated. This is a fight I’ve waited a long time for and I want to be at my best. I have faith that I’ll win that night.”
