The official press conference took place Thursday in Puebla, Mexico for Saturday’s IBF super featherweight world title fight between Mexican champion Juan Carlos Salgado and his challenger former WBA champion Jonathan Barros of Argentina. The bout will take place in the Miguel Hidalgo Gym on a billed “Clash of Nations.”
Jonathan Barros: “I respect the world champion Salgado but I’m coming for that title and I’m taking it for my family and Argentina.”
Juan Carlos Salgado: “I respect Jonathan Barros, who is a former world champion, but I’m sure I’ll give you a beating and smash your face.”
