Longtime contender Dmitriy Salita (33-1-1, 17 KOs) will continue on his road back to a world title shot when he faces veteran Roberto Valenzuela (65-62-2, 54 KOs) in an eight round junior middleweight fight on Saturday’s Wilder-Manswell undercard at the Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall in Mobile, Alabama. Salita has won three straight since his lone career defeat in a world title fight against Amir “King” Khan in 2009. An impressive win over Valenzuela could lead to an all-Brooklyn world title clash against WBA welterweight champion Paul Malignaggi on October 20 at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
