Former WBA minimumweight world champion Samuel “Sammy” Gutierrez (29-6-2, 20 KOs) won by knockout in the third round after a left hook impressively finished 40-year-old Rafael Orozco (22-40-2, 14 KOs) on Saturday night at the Plaza de Torros in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

On hand for the event were Mexican legends Pipino Cuevas, Humberto “Chiquita” Gonzalez and Alfonzo Zamora, as well as guest of honor current WBC super welterweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
