Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing has announced the signing of former world title challenger and IBF #4 (super featherweight), WBA #6 (featherweight) Fernando David “El Vasco” Saucedo (46-5-3, 4 KOs) to a long-term promotional agreement. Saucedo has only lost one fight (a 2010 decision loss in a world title challenge against the formidable Chris John) since 2004 and he will face Cristian Palma (18-6-1, 5 KOs) on November 3 in Uruguay, on the undercard of the first defense of WBA female lightweight world champion Cecilia “La Reina” Comunales.
