Zurdito Sanchez finally makes weight on third try; IBF title fight vs. Sosa is on

Update: The champion Juan Carlos “Zurdito” Sanchez didn’t make weight on the first try, coming in at 116. He rturned after an hour and still weighed 115.5. The IBF gave him another hour to try to drop the remaining half pound. Looking spent he finally weighed the division limit of 115 to avoid losing his belt on the scales. He will defend tomorrow night.
