Former WBA world champion Alexander Munoz (36-4, 28 KOs) will be facing former IBF bantamweight world champion Leo Santacruz (23-0-1, 13 KOs) on May 4 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, on the televised undercard of Mayweather-Guerrero. Munoz is training at the Brigido Iriarte Gym in Caracas, Venezuela with his local trainer Jorge Zerpa.
The pay-per-view telecast will also feature rising middleweight star J’Leon Love (15-0, 8 KOs) squaring off against recent world title challenger Gabriel “King” Rosado (21-6, 13 KOs) in a 10-round battle. The co-feature is the already announced Daniel Ponce de Leon vs. Abner Mares 12-round title fight for Ponce de Leon’s WBC featherweight world championship.
