Denver lightweight Juan Santiago (9-2-1, 6 KOs) moved up a few weight classes Saturday night in Denver at Red & Jerry’s, to punish Brad Jackson (9-2-1, 6 KOs) over three rounds. Dropping Jackson in the first, Santiago went on for a third round TKO win. The sold-out Airtight Boxing show had a six-bout undercard: jr. welterweight Arthur Cruz (21-17-4, 11 KOs) won a five-round unanimous decision over Richard Flores (3-12, 2 KOs), who dropped his sixth straight bout; bantam Alejandro Castillo (3-0, 1 KO) won a four-round unanimous decision over Leshaun Blair (4-18), who is 1-9 in his last ten; welter Tyler Pogline (2-5, 2 KOs) won a split decision in four, over David Marquez (3-5-1, 1 KO); lightweight Stevie Marquez (8-14-1, 6 KOs) won a four-round unanimous decision over Chris Hill (4-22-2, 2 KOs), who dropped his 7th straight fight; welter Raul Carrillo (3-0, 2 KO) TKO’d unwon Irvin Greene (0-7) in round one; and, in a female super bantam bout, Brittany Cruz (3-2, 1 KO) won a four-round unanimous decision over DJ Morrison (1-4, 1 KO).
