Welterweight Frankie Santos (16-6-3, 8 KO’s) made 152 pounds, while his opponent, Hicklet Lau (20-18-2, 9 KO’s) made 152.2 pounds, during the weigh-in for the Boxeo Boricua en Caguas, event organized by Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment. Santos, from Salinas, Puerto Rico, said he’s much stronger and more prepared than the last time he faced Lau, when Lau won by majority decision. But his rival disagreed, saying that “I’ve already beat him, and despite of all his training, I doubt he’ll be able to do any damage”. A total of nine bouts will take place on friday nigth, in this edition of Boxeo Boricua. The event will face boxers from Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the United States.
