Former WBA super middleweight champion Dimitri Sartison (29-2) will be back in action on January 27th in Herleen, Netherlands. It is Sartison’s first bout since losing to Karoly Balzsay in April 2012 in an attempt to regain the WBA title he had won in 2009 by stopping Stjepan Bozic. “Super middleweight is one of the hottest divisions right now with lots of big names and possible big money fights,” says the 32-year old German. “I want to prove myself against the best fighters in the world. This fight is just a tune-up for hopefully bigger things to come.” Sartison is preparing for his upcoming bout with trainer Artur Grigorian in Hamburg, Germany, sparring with unbeaten light heavyweight contender Ismail Oezen (6-0) who will have his next fight on February 9th in Esbjerg, Denmark.
