Mexican boxing phenom Saul “Canelo” Alvarez stretches on Thursday in Guadalajara, Mexico during a media workout in preparation for his September 18 fight against former world champion Carlos Baldomir which will take place on the undercard of Shane Mosley vs. Sergio Mora at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.

“I’m working hard in the gym,” he stated. “I know that Baldomir’s a very, very strong fighter, but I’m going to do my fight. We have our strategy and I’m going to make my fight. I have a lot of confidence as well, even though he’s strong, I’m also strong and I’m going to bring that to the ring.”
