WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and former champion Sergio Martinez faced off again Wednesday at the Wynn Las Vegas in the second of a three-city coast-to-coast media tour to publicize the September 15th Chavez Jr vs. Martinez showdown at the Thomas & Mack Center. It was announced today that the Wynn Las Vegas Sportsbook has established an initial line with Sergio Martinez the favorite at -170. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. backers can get +150.
Martinez said he would beat up Chavez so bad they will need DNA to identify him. “You will never recognize him after September 15th.”
Junior stated that after the fight they won’t call Martinez ‘marvelous,’ they’ll call him ‘mar-girl.’ He concluded with “…on September 15th I will knock him out!”
