All of the fighters in tonight’s ShoBox: The New Generation telecast – including the non-televised fighters – will be wearing Everlast PINK gloves to help raise awareness about the battle against breast cancer. Pictured above, welterweight prospects Freddy Hernandez and Damian Frias plus NABF super bantamweight champion Al Seeger and his challenger Victor Fonseca hold a pair of the Everlast PINK gloves that they will be wearing during tonight’s ShoBox telecast. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so Everlast Worldwide has created the PINK products to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in the fight to KO breast cancer. Everlast will donate a portion from each sale of a PINK item to the BCRF to support the search for a cure for breast cancer. The Everlast PINK items include the Everlast Hook and Loop Training Glove, Pink 180′ Hand Wraps, and the Pink Mini-Glove Keychain. Please click here for more info and to order the Everlast PINK items.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
