Former Amateur Olympic and World Champion Odlanier “La Sombra” Solis of Havana, Cuba has been added to the already interesting show this Friday at the Miccosukee Resort and Gaming in Miami. Solis (13-0, 9 KOs) who is the WBC International heavyweight champion and currently ranked #7 WBC will face Dominique “Diamond” Alexander (18-6-1, 9 KOs) of Topeka, Kansas in scheduled eight round bout. The bout will be officially announced at today’s press conference. Also undefeated Cuban prospect Lester “El Cubanito” Gonzalez (10-0, 6 KOs) will face the toughest fight of his career when he faces hard punching former Olympian Juan Camilo “La Boa” Novoa (13-3, 11 KOs) in a clash scheduled for six rounds in the jr middleweight division. In the main event, Diosbelys Hurtado (40-3-1, 25 KOs) returns home and will be facing former WBC Latin and WBA FEDECARIBE champion Manuel “El Marro” Garnica (25-10, 13 KO’s) in a clash scheduled for twelve rounds with Hurtado’s WBO Latin welterweight title on the line.
