It has been officially announced by promoter Fausto Daniel Garcia that WBC light flyweight champion Edgar Sosa will put his title on the line against challenger Omar Soto of Puerto Rico on September 12th in Tuxtla, Chiappas, Mexico. The popular Sosa (36-5,20 KOs) will be making his tenth title defense against the WBC #5 ranked Soto (14-3-1, 6 KOs) and has hinted that he will be stepping up to the flyweight division next year. At least four regional title fights will be included on the card.
