WBC miniumweight world champion Edgar Sosa could defend his crown against Panamanian Carlos Melo on March 28 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. If it happens, it will be the first world title fight ever in Ciudad Victoria, the hometown of WBC President Jose Sulaiman, who of course will be on hand. The event will also feature regional title fights, as well as a female world title bout. The site of the card will be a gymnasium with a capacity for six thousand people.
