Former world champion Humberto “Zorrita” Soto scored a twelve round unanimous decision over Mahonri “Russo” Montes in a bout for the WBC International silver welterweight belt on Saturday night at the Polideportivo Centenario in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Scores were Polideportivo Centenario de Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Scores were 117-112, 118-110 and 115-113.
In other bouts, lightweight Adrian “Diamante” Estrella moved to 14-0, 14 KOs with a fourth round KO of Cesar Vazquez (25-3, 16 KOs) and unheralded jr welterweight Ramiro Alcaraz (14-2-1, 8 KOs) took advantage of a broken hand suffered bu high regarded Antonio “KÑS” Lozada (32-2, 28 KOs) to post an unexpected eight round decision.
