Super welterweight gatekeeper Jesus Soto Karass (26-7-3, 17 KOs) showed he’s still a force to be reckoned with as he scored a fifth round TKO over Euri Gonzalez (20-3-1, 14 KOs) on Saturday night in “The Hangar” located at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, California. Soto Karass dropped Gonzalez in round five with an overhand right and the bout was stopped later in that round when Soto Karass rocked Gonzalez again. Time was 1:50.
Unbeaten Olympian super featherweight Francisco Vargas (12-0, 10 KOs) annihilated Irving Torres (9-3, 7 KOs) in round one.
