South Philadelphia’s Brian Cohen (9-1, 8 KOs) will face Robbie Tovar (15-4-1, 5 KOs), of Lafayette, Indiana in the ten round light heavyweight main event on Saturday, January 31, at South Philadelphia High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Also featured is up and coming Dennis Hasson (5-0, 2 KOs), who hails from the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Hasson will face Michael Rayner (6-10, 5 KOs), of Lumberton, North Carolina in a six round super middleweight bout. Another local unbeaten, Anthony Ferrante, 4-0, with 1 KO, of North Philadelphia, will face South Carolina’s Robert Dunton (6-3, 5 KOs), in a six round cruiserweight match. The show is being promoted by Bionic Bull Promotions.
Other bouts:
“Mighty” Mike Tiberi (6-1, 3 KOs), of New Castle, Delaware takes on John “Jawbreaker” Colvin (2-3, 2 KOs), of Pennsboro, West Virginia in a four round middleweight bout.
Kamarah Pasley (1-3, 1 KO) fresh off a knockout victory last Friday, takes on Pedro Martinez (3-1, 2 KOs) in a four round all-Philadelphia cruiserweight battle.
Heavyweight John Mercurio will make his pro debut against Brandon Bennett (0-1), of Kokomo, Indiana in a four round bout.
Rounding out the seven-bout card will be a women’s match featuring Nasia Brown making her pro debut against Karen Dulin (0-2), of Mystic, Connecticut in a four round featherweight match.
