Unbeaten former lightweight champion Paul Spadafora (40-0-1, 16 KOs) has pulled out of his March 31 fight in Pittsburgh due to a sprained left ankle suffered while doing roadwork. Spadafora, who has reunited with former trainer Jesse Reid, was slated to face Carlos Mairena (20-11-1, 17 KOs). That bout may be shifted to another Mike Acri-promoted card on May 9 in Niagara Falls, NY.
