Former IBF lightweight champion Paul “The Pittsburgh Kid” Spadafora (42-0-1, 17 KOs), who on September 30 returns to the ring for the second time in three months, will face Jermain “Too Sweet” White (17-3, 10 KOs) in a 10-round junior welterweight bout at Heinz Field-VIP Tent in Pittsburgh. Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker, the four-division world champion and Hall of Fame inductee, is once again running “The Pittsburgh Kid’s training camp in Indiana. The undercard will also feature undefeated local prospects, lightweight Rod Salka (8-0, 2 KOs), and heavyweight Paul Zalus (2-0, 2 KOs), against Ikem Orji (5-2, 1 KO) and Ryan St. Germain (2-4, 2 KOs), respectively, as well as heavyweight Tommy Poe (1-0) plus other bouts to be named soon.
