Spadafora/Whitaker public workouts!

Promoter Michael Acri announced today that undefeated former IBF lightweight champion Paul “The Pittsburgh Kid” Spadafora and his new trainer, four division world champion and Hall of Fame inductee Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker, will hold public workouts and autograph sessions in the Pittsburgh area as they prepare for Spadafora’s homecoming fight, scheduled for Wednesday, June 24 at Pittsburgh’s Amphitheatre at Station Square . Spadafora (41-0-1), will rumble with Ivan Bustos (27-12-3) in a 10-round junior welterweight bout.

Public workout schedule: Saturday, June 20, beginning at 1:00 P.M., the Spadafora-Whitaker Public Workout and Autograph Session will take place at 1st Choice Motors (1 Furnace Street, McKees Rocks, PA. 15136), located next to Eat And Park. Monday, June 22, beginning at 2:00 P.M., the second Spadafora-Whitaker Public Workout and Autograph Session will take place at James 5:16 Boxing Center in Tarentum (301 West 7th Avenue, Tarentum, PA 15084)
