The six fighters who will be fighting the three PPV-televised bouts underneath the Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez main event Saturday night at the MGM in Las Vegas proclaimed their readiness at today’s press conference. In the co-main event, WBA World Featherweight Champion Chris John (42-0-2, 22 KOs) will defend his belt in a rematch with challenger Rocky Juarez (28-4-1, 20 KOs). In the second co-feature title bout, for the WBO interim lightweight title, Michael Katsidis (25-2, 21 KOs) takes on Vicente Escobedo (21-1, 13 KOs). In the opener, ten rounds at featherweight, unbeaten Orlando Cruz (16-0, 7 KOs) will fight Cornelius Lock (18-4-1, 11 KOs). Stay tuned for a full report later today on the press conference.
