Belgian Stephane Jamoye (24-3-0, 14KOs) is in full training and doing some sparring in the North of France to prepare for his upcoming EBU bantamweight title defense against Briton Ashley Sexton (14-1-2, 5KOs) set for March 9 in Herstal, Belgium. Ashley is rated #7 by the EBU. If all goes well for Jamoye he will have to make his mandatory defense against dangerous Kazach Zhanat Zhakiyanov.
Brother Steve Jamoye (12-0-0, 2KOs) is facing Mexican Luis Solis (11-1-4, 9KOs) for the WBC Youth Superlightweight Silver title. In the 3rd title fight of the show Sabrina Giuliani should have no problem to keep her EBU Female Superlightweight title against Hungarian Dalia Vasarhelyi who is only 3-1 (all 4 rounders). Giuliani is expected to fight Klara Svensson in June for the WBC Silver title. Svensson captured the vacant title last weekend in Galati, Romania against Kremena Petkova from Bulgaria and has Sabrina Giuliani as mandatory challenger.
On the undercard Michael Recloux will have a warm-up 8 round bout against Jessy Morreaux. Recloux will fight Erick Nazarian for the Belgian title on June 8. Two other bouts will complete this show promoted by BC GMG Cheratte-Vise headed by Mirco Giuliani.
