IBF #1 rated super middleweight Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (19-1, 16 KOs) already has plans to move up to 175lbs and challenge WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson in the summer, but the power puncher from Quebec will risk it all to get another shot at the only man to beat him. On Friday night Stevenson will try to avenge the second round KO he suffered nearly three years ago at the hands of Darnell Boone at Montreal’s Bell Centre in a bout that can be seen on Wealth TV and

Stevenson’s promoter Yvon Michel would have preferred that his fighter skip this fight and focus on his world title shot in a few months, but revenge is a powerful motivator and Stevenson insisted on it. “Superman” says he underestimated Boone the first time but he’s learned from his mistake. “I’ve wanted this rematch for a long time,” he told RDS. “This comes from the heart. I’m looking forward to this fight and I’ve put my training into overdrive!”
