Stewart returns April 24!

Former USBA junior welterweight champ Mike “No Joke” Stewart (42-7-2, 23 KOs), of New Castle, Delaware will return to the ring after an 18-month layoff on Friday, April 24 at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, Delaware. Stewart was a star on the TV reality show, The Contender Season 2. He will headline the card in a welterweight bout against an opponent to be named. Popular Mark “Oak Tree”: Brown (14-1, 7 KOs), of Salem, NJ is scheduled to appear in the co-main event against an opponent to be determined. Brown holds the WBF Intercontinental heavyweight title. The show will feature a mix of veterans, and exciting prospects such as red-hot Ryan Belasco, as well as a special female attraction. The card is being presented by Capital City Promotions.

Former world-title challenger Larry “The Laser” Marks (29-10-1, 16 KOs), of New Castle, DE fights for the first time in nearly a year. He will face Willis “The Prophet” Lockett (11-7-5, 4 KOs), of Takoma Park, MD in a six round super middleweight bout.

Ryan Belasco (10-2-3, 3 KOs), of New Castle, DE is riding a 5-bout winning streak. Ryan will face James Ventry (7-7-1, 4 KOs), of New York, NY in a six round welterweight bout.

Slick Oscar Vasquez ((2-1), of New Castle, DE will meet tough Mike Denby (2-2-2, 2 KOs), of Felton, DE in a four round junior welterweight match.

Amazing 47-year-old Bernard “Road Dog” Miller (1-1-1), of Dover, DE will engage in a rematch with Rakeem Carter (0-6-3), of Albany, NY in a four round junior middleweight bout. Carter and Miller previously fought to a draw.

“Mighty” Mike Tiberi (7-1, 4 KOs), of Smyrna, DE will appear in a four round middleweight bout against an opponent to be determined.

Former amateur star Amanda Serrano (1-0), of Brooklyn, NY will have her second bout as a pro. Matchmaker Nick Tiberi is presently matching her bout. Amanda is the sister of former women’s champion Cindy “Checkmate” Serrano.

Light heavyweight Anthony Caputo, of Kennett Square, PA will make his pro debut on the card.
