WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz has gone into the high mountains of Rogla in Slovenia for intense preparations in advance his mandatory title defense against Arthur Abraham on August 25th at the O2 World in Berlin. “I have everything here!” he commented. “The best air, pure nature, the mountain climate and great training conditions. The mountains are a real challenge in running and will make me even fitter for the fight against Abraham!”
Near Ptuj, the home of his stablemate Jan Zaveck, Stieglitz is scheduled for a two week intensive program with mountain runs, coordination training and light sparring. In addition to former world champion Jan Zaveck, there are also SES light heavyweight contenders Denis Simic and Robin Krasniqi in camp. With plenty of fun and good humor SES trainer Dirk Dzemski always pushes the SES training group hard to prepare for the major tasks ahead in the coming months.
