World ranked bantamweight Khabir Suleymanov (16-3, 6 KOs) will look to put the first blemish on unbeaten Ramon Morales (17-0, 9 KOs) when the two will square off March 7th in the state of Washington on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights. The super bantamweight bout is scheduled for 10 rounds. Suleymanov has done a 180-degree turn in his career after losing three of five and has now won three in a row. This is in large part due to support from his new upstart manager Journeyman Management, based out of Southern California and new trainer Phil Paolina. Paolina himself has been on a streak lately of reviving careers. Just recently it was Paolina who was intensely training former cruiserweight world champion Juan Carlos Gomez near Los Angeles resulting in a nice Gomez weight loss prior to his recent return to Germany and constantly pushing him to return to cruiserweight to become relevant in boxing again.
