Super 8 fighters finalized

The remaining names have been announced for the $500,000 $500,000 Prizefighter-style “Super 8” tournament on June 4 in Auckland, New Zealand. Antz Nelson (33-5, 13 KOs), Brice Ritani-Coe (3-2-1, 3 KOs) and Alonzo Butler (30-2-1, 22 KOs) will join former WBC/IBF heavyweight champion Hashim “The Rock” Rahman (50-8-2, 41 KOs), Kali Meehan (38-5, 31 KOs), Michael Sprott (40-21, 27 KOs), Martin Rogan (16-4, 8 KOs) and Hunter Sam (11-2, 4 KOs). Sam recently replaced injured Samuel Peter.

The winner of the tournament will collect $200,000, the runner-up receives $100,000, semi-finalists earn $30,000, and opening round losers bank $15,000. Fighters can receive bonuses for KOs, best fights and fight of the night.
