Suriyan dethrones Rojas

Suriyan Sor Rungvisai (19-5-1,7 KOs) won a unanimous decision over the now former champion Tomas Rojas (36-13-1,24KOs) to capture the WBC superflyweight title on Friday afternoon at Khunmuangsri stadium in Srisaket Province, Thailand. Scored 116-112, 117-111, 115-114 for the new champion. Suriyan became the 43rd Thai fighter to win a major world title. (more to come)
