OPBF#3/JBC#1 middleweight Norifumi Suzuki (16-2-1, 11 KOs), 160, looked impressive as he dropped Petchnameek Sithsaithong (11-7, 2 KOs), 160, three times and halted him at 0:23 of the third round in a scheduled eight on Monday in Tokyo, Japan. The hard-punching Suzuki caught the shorter Thailander with a well-timed left hook, and sent him sprawling to the deck twice in the second session. A single countering short right just to the button was a haymaker that pulverized him so effectively that the third man stopped counting and halted the proceedings.
