Newly crowned IBF middleweight champion Sebastian Sylvester (32-3, 15 KOs) impressively decisioned Giovanny Lorenzo (27-2, 19 KOs) Saturday night to win his crown. Immediately after the fight he was asked by Sports broadcaster Juan Larena of “Combate Space” of his thoughts on a rematch and unification with WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm. Sturm unanimously decisioned Sylvester nearly a year ago. “I don’t need Sturm anymore. I’m a champion now. Right now all I’m thinking about right now is going on vacation with my daughter,” said Sylvester.
