Former world welterweight and middleweight challenger Shannan Taylor (50-9-3, 36 KOs) will be in action over twelve rounds on Saturday against Tim Kanofski (11-4) at the Croation Club in Punchbowl, Sydney, NSW, Australia with IBF Pan Pacific championship up for grabs. Taylor holds KO wins over several former world champions including former WBA lightweight champion Livingstone Bramble who he blasted out in round one and former IBF junior welterweight champion Jake “The Snake” Rodriguez who went out in three rounds. Taylor was turned back in a WBC welterweight title bout against Shane Mosley in six rounds in 2001 and dropped a twelve round decision to Arthur Abraham in an IBF middleweight title bout in 2006. Kanofski dropped a decision to former WBA middleweight challenger Jamie Pittman in his most recent ring outing. Australian heavyweight contender Michael Kirby (8-3-1, 5 KOs) will slug it out with Royce Sio (1-1, 1 KO) over four rounds. Promoter: Rod Van Akker.
