Team Sauerland on Facebook

Team Sauerland would kindly like to invite all boxing fans to follow the Berlin-based boxing stable on Facebook. There will be constant video, photo and news updates from Abraham, Kessler, Valuev, Huck, Sylvester and Co. in the coming weeks. The Facebook page grants fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the happenings ahead of King Arthur Abraham´s Super Six clash with Andre Dirrell and Mikkel Kessler´s fight against WBC Super-Middleweight Champion Carl Froch. “We love to interact with boxing fans all over the world,” Team Sauerland General Manager Chris Meyer said. “I have become a Facebook addict myself. It is such a fantastic way of communicating with friends and fans all over the world.”

This week, King Arthur Abraham and Marco Huck have submitted special pictures from their training camp in Palm Springs, while Mikkel Kessler has posted a video blog from his latest media sparring session in Berlin. There will be more to come during the next weeks. “Further to our webpage, we will be posting special content to reach out to our fans all over the world,” Meyer added.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
