One of the most ambitious marketing plans in recent years, the “Tecate Boxing Tour” made its debut today in the San Marcos Fair in Aguascalientes where it will stay to delight boxing fans thru out the biggest and most important fair in Latin America that will end on Sunday, May 9th. The “Tecate Box Tour” is a take on the NFL Experience and All-Star Baseball Experience, where the fans actually get to try show their boxing skills on the speed and heavy bag, go up in a ring and take pictures as well as tryout video games with the newest boxing games in the industry. There is also Sports Bar inside the big tent where fans can watch great fights as well as the live soccer games.
The “Tecate Girls” have their special corner where they mingle with the fans. They take pictures with the fans as well sign autographs. This venue will also play a big part of the huge “Latin Fury 14” boxing event coming to Aguascalientes where Antonio Margarito will make his return to the ring in a card to be held at the Plaza de Toros Monumental on Saturday, May 8, that will be telecast live on pay-per-view in the United States.
During fight week fighters are expected to do a public workout at the “Tecate Tour” and the weight-in on Friday May 9th is also expected to be there.
The “Tecate Boxing Tour” will visit 10 Mexican cities in 2010, including, Guadalajara, Tijuana, Hermosillo and Culiacan.
