Featured at FIGHT NIGHT AT THE COMMERCE 3 will be numerous world class prospects and local fan favorites.

The main event features undefeated super bantamweight Leo “TEREMOTO” Santa Cruz, returning to the Commerce Casino for his third straight battle. The 21 year old Lincoln Heights resident boasts a record of 12-0-1 (4KO’s) and has built a reputation as one of the most exciting young fighters in the sport.

Santa Cruz has won his last two bouts by knockout each with devastating body shots as he destroyed Julio Valadez in the first round on November 3rd and followed that with a third round stoppage of Juan Jose Beltran on December 19th.

The co-feature at FIGHT NIGHT AT THE COMMERCE 3 brings the Commerce Casino debut of Southern California fan favorite, junior bantamweight Austroberto Juarez. Returning from a three year layoff, the 25 year old Juarez, 8-0-0 (2KO’s), looks to impressively jump start his career in the scheduled six rounder.

The undercard is headlined by sensational 19 year old super bantamweight prospect Randy Caballero. The Coachella native has thrilled crowds at the Commerce Casino and the Palm Springs Ball Park with two stunning first round stoppages in his initial pro starts.

Also featured on the undercard are The Brothers Chudinov, 23 year old Dmitry, 4-0-0 (2KO’s) and 22 year old Fedor, 4-0-0 (3KO’s). The brothers, natives of Serpukhov, Russia, now residing in Los Angeles, have become staples at the Commerce Casino, impressing the fight crowds with their terrific boxing skills and punishing power in both hands.

Two additional local prospects will also be featured in separate bouts at FIGHT NIGHT AT THE COMMERCE 3 as welterweight Eric Mendez of Hawaiian Gardens will be making his pro debut and super bantamweight Alex “LIL KABOOM” Jimenez, 1-0-0, of Perris, California will also see action in a scheduled four rounder.

In the heavyweight division, Carson City, Nevada native Steve Fierro, 3-3-3 (1KO), will be making his return to the Commerce Casino after a thunderous second round knockout of Mike Finney on March 25th. Fierro is scheduled to appear in a four rounder.

Light heavyweights will also see action as San Pedro’s Daniel Perez, 8-8-1 (5KO’s), will battle Mario Ortiz, 8-9-1 (6KO’s) of Belen, New Mexico. The bout is an immediate rematch of their battle on March 19th in which Oritz stopped Perez in the second round.

More information on FIGHT NIGHT AT THE COMMERCE 3 will be announced shortly.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
