“My boxing style was and always will be based on speed, movement and punch combinations. This is how I became light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion of the world. This is also the best way to became a heavyweight champion, I realize that. This is the final stretch of my career, my probably last chance to became a champion in the three heaviest weight classes, something that was never done before. So, starting with Tony Grano (20-3, 16 KO) on August 3, I will be do my best to use all my experience, my new energy to my advantage, to fight for the heavyweight title again. Working with a young pro, strong fighter like Glazkow helps,” said Tomasz Adamek (43-2, 29 KOs) after Wednesday’s sparring session.
Working with Adamek is also a great chance for undefeated Vyacheslaw Glazkow (14-0-1, 10 KO), who the same night in Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, will be back after his draw with Malik Scott. During the “Three To See” event, “The Czar” will test Byron Polley (25-15, 11 KOs).
