Thursday marks the 20th anniversary of one of the greatest upsets in sports history. On February 11th, 1990, James “Buster” Douglas shocked the world when, for ten rounds, he outboxed and ultimately knocked out Mike Tyson to become the unlikeliest undisputed heavyweight champion boxing had ever seen. Buster will relive that night and talk with boxing fans on tonight’s Through the Ropes hosted by Marc Lichtenfeld. Also appearing on the show will be HBO’s Jim Lampley, who called the fight live from Tokyo. Boxing fans can call in to speak with Buster and Jim and discuss their own memories of that incredible night. Through the Ropes is the only nationally syndicated boxing radio show on the air. It is heard live Thursday nights from 9 – 10 p.m. ET on 75 affiliates of the Sports Byline USA Network, Sportsbyline.com, Fightnews.com, and podcast available on iTunes. Fightnews readers can listen live by clicking here tonight at 9PM ET.
