“Toro” hits Mohegan Sun

“They picked the wrong guy, they think I’m old and slow, but they got it wrong. I trained properly for this fight, not just to lose weight like in the past, I’m here to beat Manfredo on Saturday night” said the native Chicagoan.

The Hernandez/Manfredo bout headlines an action packed ten bout HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS card presented by TKO Boxing Promotions.

The co-main event features the return of Matt “The Sharp Shooter” Remillard who will defend his NABF featherweight title against Carlos Rivera in a ten round bout.

Featured on the undercard are numerous world class prospects and local favorites including undefeated junior welterweight sensation Joseph Elegele, hard hitting middleweight prospect J’Leon Love, Framingham , MA . junior welterweight Danny O’Conner, female welterweight Adelita Irizarry of West Hartford, Canadian super featherweight Logan McGuinness, lightweight Joseph “Chip” Perez of East Hartford, CT. and the pro debuts of light heavyweights Ron Scott of Waterbury, CT and Reinaldo Graceski of Springfield, MA in separate bouts.
