Tribute to Sugarboy Malinga

African Ring in association with Golden Gloves Promotions have arranged a box-and-dine tournament to be held on September 29th at Emperors Palace’s Theatre of Marcellus near Kempton Park, South Africa to honor former three-time world champion, Thulane “Sugarboy” Malinga.

Heading the bill will IBO Africa junior flyweight champion Hekkie Budler who defends his belt against Doctor Ntsele.

Also on the bill will be former South African and commonwealth super middleweight champion Andre Thysse, who is making a comeback at the age 40 in the light heavyweight division, when he meets Emmanuel Duma over eight rounds.

On the same card all scheduled for four rounds will be:
Junior lightweight: Joey Stiglingh vs Solly Mokoka.
Featherweight: Ashley Dlamini vs Shadrack Mamaila.
Heavyweight: Stephen Castle vs Kali Kelembe.
Heavyweight: Deon Coetzee vs Papi Mongende.
Super middleweight: Simon Mokoena vs David Baassajamviule.
Lightweight: Simon Milne vs Wensley Buys.
